Tuesdays at 11:00 for Art Club in the craft room for painting, drawing, card making, etc. There are thousands of supplies available for your use, just bring your creativity. Drop-ins welcome. No lessons.

The group welcomes all individuals who would like to sew together and share ideas about quilting. There are a few sewing machines available if bringing your own is an issue. Lunch begins promptly at 11:30 and sewing will continue after. For more information call Camille Coulborn at 363-8219. Donations for quilting material or supplies are welcome. Thursdays at 9:30


Stitches from the Heart is a knitting program hosted at the Keene Senior Center where individuals come together to socialize and knit items that will be donated to different organizations within the community. The yarn is supplied by the center, thanks to the generous donations of many people.  WHILE THIS GROUP HAS NOT MET FOR SEVERAL YEARS, should anyone be interested in starting it up again, there is an opening on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 2:00 or 3:00. For now, people knit and crochet throughout the year and in thefall the group gathers blankets, hats, mittens, scarfs and anything else they have made to donate to various schools and nursing homes throughout the Monadnock Region.  Whether or not you join in the group, if you would like to add your knitted and crocheted creations to our contributions, please either bring your contributions by or call the Center at 603-352-5037 to get on the list of those called in the fall.WE DO NEED DRIVERS TO DELIVER THE DONATIONS, USUALLY IN OCTOBER OR EARLY NOVEMBER.


Have you ever wanted to make your own greeting cards but thought you could not do it? Do not know how to get started? No supplies? Your solution is the 2nd & 4th Friday of the month at 1:00 in the craft room at the Senior Center. Janice Bourassa will guide you and you will create cards of all sorts. Supplies are furnished. As a member it is free, as a guest it will cost $3 per class. You will be able to keep your creations or donate them to the Center, it is your choice. The cards you make will be unique. It is amazing how easily a beautiful card can be created and so much appreciated by the recipient! So join Janice and start creating. Be careful - it is addictive. Do check the calendar each month for any scheduling changes which are known to happen, however rarely.
